That will more than cover my requirements.
I know that the pro can be used on as many machines as in your location, as well as up to 5 laptops. Does anyone know if the express is limited to just one computer. I am using the integrated ATI 4200 video from my motherboard. But I know that it will just lead to frustration if I can't trust the colours and what I see on the screen. Rather put the extra $100 towards say a Photoshop plugin like onone's mask pro4. just wasting money on something that I really don't need. The express is half the price of the pro, but I am not apposed to spending the extra. I am looking to put on some better blinds to block out the light from the window infront of the computer. I am to take it that the ambient light features are just an overkill that isn't going to be used? I am doing all my working in a bedroom so the light changes all the time depending on the time of day and if it's sunny outside. Too many variables here (from the user to the monitor used to the graphics card settings) to state things in absolute terms, IMHO.īlessed are the young, for they shall inherit the national debt. Others would tell you they need the Pro to get things fine-tuned to their demands.
You also "get royal the shaft" when your Ministers fly to Miami to get their surgical procedures.at the tax payers expense!! Maybe that's just a 'newfie' thing!Īnyhow, I'd say the Express is sufficient enough for general hobbyists (and I know at least one pro that uses it as well). I don't know is there are licence issues between any of the versions. I might as well use the calibrator on my two desktop machines along with both laptops. With this in mind, is the pro still a good buy, or will the Express do the job.
You can get the Spyder 3 pro for $130, where we get stuck paying $215, Being here in Canada, we get the royal shaft and have to pay a premium price for our products.
